Olathe High School Drainage Improvement Phase 1
The Olathe High School property has been plagued by drainage issues between the school buildings and the football field. A retaining wall system and storm drainage network was designed to solve the drainage issues and beautify the grounds behind the school, creating an enjoyable space for students, faculty, and visitors.
Curves were incorporated into the retaining wall design to aesthetically diminish the expanse of the wall. The $1.5M stone retaining wall included a stairway and accessible route with ramp to the football field and track.
Additional site improvements included football field bleachers, baseball field bleachers, trash pad, and paving.
